Story of a person who was comforted when he cried out.

A sinful past

Once there lived a man who led a displeasing life. He continued to lead a sinful life, inspite of many people advising him to walk in right ways. His wife was a personification of patience. She patiently prayed for his change of heart. But, he would not even allow her to pray! He enjoyed hurting God as well as all those who believed in God.

 Life turned upside down

One day, he went to another place on an official duty. On the way, he met with a car accident and fractured his leg and was admitted in a hospital. The doctors, who examined him, said that they would have to cut off his leg to save his life and advised him to get ready for the same.

Who will help this terrible sinner?

He was shocked! His sinful life slowly appeared before his eyes. He was in despair and said to himself, “Woe to me! What a great sinner I am? Alas! I was haughty and arrogant to reject and hurt them. I hurt God Almighty also. Today, who will help this terrible sinner?”

Prayers Heard

Saying so he started weeping bitterly for his past. Some Pastors and elderly Christian people who had come there to see him heard this and took pity on him, went to his room and prayed for him often. The man too wept and prayed along with them. The Lord heard their prayers and had compassion on him. The doctors who came after a few days to examine him told him that there was no need to cut off  his leg. Yes! He got his leg back.

God blesses those people who feel sad. They will find comfort!

This terrible sinner when he cried out to the Lord, repenting for his past sinful life, the Lord not only  saved him from sickness and but also comforted him by taking away the guilt of his past life.Our God is well known to give a fresh start and a new life to anyone who comes to Him. Are you ready to start afresh?  Come immediately before it gets too late. He's knocking feebly at your heart - can't you hear His gentle voice? He has already suffered the punishment you ought to incur on His cross. He's waiting for His beloved son/daughter. Just cry till your  eyes can't produce tears anymore for your sin just unto His feet.  You'll then see the divine peace and comfort you've felt never before as a proof that God has accepted you and come into you. Ask pardon - Ask Him to wash your sins with His precious blood. Amen.
