Your Faith!

Your Faith!

So here’s the answer! Yes! That evening a lot of quails came and landed everywhere in the camp, and the next morning dew covered the ground. After the dew had gone, the desert was covered with thin flakes that looked like frost. The people had never seen anything like this, and they started asking each other, "What is it?"Moses answered, "This is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat. And He orders you to gather about 2 quarts for each person in your family--that should be more than enough." They did as they were told. Some gathered more and some gathered less, according to their needs, and none was left over. Moses told them not to keep any overnight. Some of them disobeyed, but the next morning what they kept was stinking and full of worms, and Moses was angry. Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and in the heat of the day the rest melted. However, on the 6th day of the week, everyone gathered enough to have 4 quarts, instead of 2. When the leaders reported this to Moses, he told them that the LORD had said, "Tomorrow is the Sabbath, a sacred day of rest in honor of me. So gather all you want to bake or boil, and make sure you save enough for tomorrow." The people obeyed, and the next morning the food smelled fine and had no worms. "You may eat the food," Moses said. "Today is the Sabbath in honor of the LORD, and there won't be any of this food on the ground today. You will find it there for the first six days of the week, but not on the Sabbath." A few of the Israelites did go out to look for some, but there was none. Then the LORD said, "Moses, how long will you people keep disobeying my laws and teachings? Remember that I was the one who gave you the Sabbath. That's why on the 6th  day I provide enough bread for 2 days. Everyone is to stay home and rest on the Sabbath." And so they rested on the Sabbath. The Israelites called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and delicious as wafers made with honey. Moses told the people that the LORD had said, "Store up 2 quarts of this manna, because I want future generations to see the food I gave you during the time you were in the desert after I rescued you from Egypt." Then Moses told Aaron, "Put some manna in a jar and store it in the place of worship for future generations to see." Aaron followed the LORD's instructions and put the manna in front of the sacred chest for safekeeping. The Israelites ate manna for 40 years, before they came to the border of Canaan that was a settled land. ‘
Lesson to be Learnt:
1.Even when the  Israelites complained against the Lord, the Lord provided them what they needed. He provided them with food, water and protection. The same way He will provide us our needs. But let us not complain against the Lord but wait patiently praising Him every moment.
            2. This proves that God can command everything. He commanded Quails(a kind of bird) fell on the ground by themselves and food was given from heaven. What a miracle.  What a mighty God we serve. No miracle is hard for the Lord. Then what limits the miracles in your life. Your FAITH. If you have faith just as mustard seed and ask a mountain to be removed yes it will be removed.
            3. But don’t test God’s power like that. Pray for your needs. Never look at the situation around you or hear what people speak about things in your life. Only believe that the Lord is going to provide your need. May be a job/promotion/seat in a college/baby etc. whatever it might be. Just believe the Lord is going to get you that! Amen!

Matthew 17:20
(CEV)  Jesus replied: It is because you don't have enough faith! But I can promise you this. If you had faith no larger than a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there. And it would. Everything would be possible for you.

Authority Given By God!

Authority Given By God!
On the 15th  day of the 2nd  month after the Israelites had escaped from Egypt, they started through the Sinai Desert in the direction of Mount Sinai. There in the desert they started complaining to Moses and Aaron, "We wish the LORD had killed us in Egypt. When we lived there, we could at least sit down and eat all the bread and meat we wanted. But you have brought us out here into this desert, where we are going to starve." The LORD said to Moses, "I will send bread down from heaven like rain. Each day the people can go out and gather only enough for that day. That's how I will see if they obey me. But on the 6th  day of each week they must gather and cook twice as much."Moses and Aaron told the people, "This evening you will know that the LORD was the one who rescued you from Egypt. And in the morning you will see his glorious power, because he has heard your complaints against him."You will know it is the LORD when He gives you meat each evening and more than enough bread each morning. He is really the one you are complaining about, not us--we are nobody--but the LORD has heard your complaints." Moses turned to Aaron and said, "Bring the people together” Aaron was speaking to them, when everyone looked out toward the desert and saw the bright glory of the LORD in a cloud. The LORD said to Moses, "I have heard my people complain. Now tell them that each evening they will have meat and each morning they will have more than enough bread. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God."  Bread from Heaven!! Really? Did it come? Wait to know till tomorrow.
Lesson to be Learnt:
At times we complain against a person who is in higher level than us. May be our parents/Staff/Senior officer/Elders etc. They might be very strict unto you or may be always at your back making you do things which you might be sluggish to do. But look what the Lord says in the Bible. Authority is given over you by the Lord. He puts the right rulers above you. So if you are complaining against them not doing things or grumbling like the Israelites then it does mean that you are complaining against the Lord. So obey the elders who are set above you. When you obey this commandment the Lord will surely bless you and rise you in due time.

Romans 13:1
(CEV)  Obey the rulers who have authority over you. Only God can give authority to anyone, and He puts these rulers in their places of power.

Marah’s Bitterness Turns Fit!

Marah’s Bitterness Turns Fit!
Moses and the Israelites sang this song in praise of the LORD. Miriam the sister of Aaron was a prophet. So she took her tambourine and led the other women out to play their tambourines and to dance in praise of the Lord. After the Israelites left the Red Sea, Moses led them through the Shur Desert for three days, before finding water. They did find water at Marah, but it was bitter, which is how that place got its name. The people complained and said, "Moses, what are we going to drink?" Moses asked the LORD for help, and the LORD told him to throw a piece of wood into the water. Moses did so, and the water became fit to drink. At Marah the LORD tested his people and also gave them some laws and teachings. Then he said, "I am the LORD your God, and I cure your diseases. If you obey me by doing right and by following my laws and teachings, I won't punish you with the diseases I sent on the Egyptians." Later the Israelites came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees. So they camped there.
Lesson to be Learnt:
If you notice the promises in the bible, it always has an if - then clause. Like  “If you obey My commands, Then I will heal you”. Our God is a faithful God. Whatever He promises He will surely do. But are we sure that we do satisfy the if part of His promises. It doesn’t mean God will be so strict watching if you obey Him and never forgive if you have disobeyed. It is human to falter. But be sure that even if you fall a thousand times, get up  and try again to obey God. It is our intentions that God sees. When we are really faithful trying hard to obey Him, the Lord will surely bless us. Today the Lord has given a promise to heal you of any kind of sickness if you obey Him. So are you ready to receive His promise?

Exodus 15:26
(CEV)  Then he said, "I am the LORD your God, and I cure your diseases. If you obey me by doing right and by following my laws and teachings, I won't punish you with the diseases I sent on the Egyptians."
