During the night the king sent for Moses and
Aaron and told them, "Get your people out of my country and leave us
alone! Go and worship the LORD, as you have asked. Take your sheep, goats, and
cattle, and get out. But ask your God to be kind to me." The Egyptians did
everything they could to get the Israelites to leave their country fast. They
said, "Please hurry and leave. If you don't, we will all be dead." So
the Israelites quickly made some bread dough and put it in pans. But they did
not mix any yeast in the dough to make it rise. They wrapped cloth around the
pans and carried them on their shoulders. The Israelites had already done what
Moses had told them to do. They had gone to their Egyptian neighbors and asked
for gold and silver and for clothes. The LORD had made the Egyptians friendly
toward the people of Israel, and they gave them whatever they asked for. In
this way they carried away the wealth of the Egyptians when they left Egypt.
The Israelites walked from the city of Rameses to the city of Succoth. There
were about six hundred thousand of them, not counting women and children. Many
other people went with them as well, and there were also a lot of sheep, goats,
and cattle. They left Egypt in such a hurry that they did not have time to
prepare any food except the bread dough made without yeast. So they baked it
and made thin bread. The LORD's people left Egypt exactly 430 years after they
had arrived. On that night the LORD kept watch for them, and on this same night
each year Israel will always keep watch in honor of the LORD.The Israelites
obeyed everything the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron to tell them. And on
that same day the LORD brought Israel's families and tribes out of Egypt.
Lesson to be
Learnt:
1.Look at
Israel’s faith, they did everything ahead and were all set to leave Egypt. This
shows their faith in God’s word. They also were ready to leave behind what they
were and look forward to what they were called to.
2.Today we
face similar situations. You might be in some sin/sickness/problem today. God
says “Am going to deliver you”. Are you ready to get rid of these and go
forward to what God is calling you to (or) Are you still holding on to your
past sin/symptoms of sickness/situations and feel faithless?
3.Think about
it. Today the Lord is calling you out of your Egypt. What is going to be your
decision?
(ISV) Regarding
your former way of life, you were taught to strip off your old man, which is
being ruined by its deceptive desires, to be renewed in the spirit of your
minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new man, which was created according
to the likeness of God in righteousness and true holiness.
Lyrics (Miriam) Many nights we've prayed With no proof anyone could hear In our hearts a hopeful song We barely understood Now we are not afraid Although we know there's much to fear We were moving mountains long Before we knew we could
There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail It's hard to kill Who knows what miracles You can achieve When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe
(Tzipporah) In this time of fear When prayer so often proved in vain Hope seemed like the summer birds Too swiftly flown away And now I am standing here (Miriam) now I'm standing here (Tzipporah) With heart so full I can't explain (Both) Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles When you believe (When you believe) Though hope is frail It's hard to kill (It's hard to kill) Who knows what miracles You can achieve (You can achieve) When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe
(Child) Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh ga-ah(I will sing unto Adonai for He has triumphed gloriously ) Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh ga-ah Mi chamocha baelim adonai(Who is like You, O Adondai, among the gods? ) Mi kamocha nedar bakodesh(Who is like You, glorious in holiness? )
(Children) Nachita v'chas-d'cha am zu ga-alta(In Your mercy, you lead the people You redeemed. ) Nachita v'chas-d'cha am zu ga-alta Ashira ashira ashira(I will sing, I will sing, I will sing.)
(People) Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh ga-ah Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh ga-ah Mi chamocha baelim adonai Mi kamocha nedar bakodesh
Nachita v'chas-d'cha am zu ga-alta Nachita v'chas-d'cha am zu ga-alta Ashira ashira ashira
There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail It's hard to kill
(Miriam) It's hard to kill
(People) Who knows what miracles You can achieve
(Tzipporah) You can achieve
(People) When you believe Somehow you will Now you will You will when you believe
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. By the abundant grace of God, “Letter From God” hascompleted a year with you through mails. From our humble beginnings to the present, our goal and our desire is to share the Love of Jesus to everyone on earth.
We have tried our best to bring the word of God as it is, yet in a form in which you could understand better.
Year ago we wanted to find a way to share the word of God to as many people as possible . The internet allowed us to meet new brothers and sisters and show them how much the Lord Jesus loves them and cares for them.
We have started this new blog so that we could share God’s love with even more people. We believe that “Letter From God” is a blessing to each one of you. So we expect you to share the same blessings with your fellow people too.
It’s been a wonderful year and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future. May you have a wonderful life ahead with all the blessing of the Almighty Lord Jesus!
