Blessings will Overtake You!

In those days, according to God's command, when a farmer harvested his field, he had to leave the grain that fell for the poor people to pick up. This gathering of the left-over grain was called "gleaning". Ruth went to "glean" in the field of a man named Boaz. He was a relative of Naomi's family. Ruth worked hard gathering grain to feed herself and Naomi. Boaz noticed how hard she was working and told her to stay in his field to glean. He invited her to eat with him and he also asked her to work only in his farm to protect her.

Later on Ruth found favor in the sight of Boaz and Boaz married her. Later they had a son named Obed. Obed, when he was grown, had a son named Jesse. Jesse's son was David. The great-grandson of Ruth became king of Israel, King David in whose line came our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lesson to be Learnt:

            Ruth was the one of the first believers who chose to follow the God of Israel. She was so faithful. She was unselfish and obeyed her mother-in-law and the Lord diligently. That’s why she had a special place in history of Jesus Christ. She was the great great grandmother of Jesus Christ. What a great honor to a girl who chose to follow the Lord. So God always honors obedience. It is always the best choice. So let us also show unselfish behavior towards the fellow human being and be obedient to the Lord almighty.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2

  Now if you give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, and keep with care all these orders which I have given you today, then the Lord your God will put you high over all the nations of the earth: And all these blessings will come on you and overtake you, if your ears are open to the voice of the Lord your God.

यदि तू अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की सब आज्ञाएं, जो मैं आज तुझे सुनाता हूं, चौकसी से पूरी करने का चित्त लगाकर उसकी सुने, तो वह तुझे पृय्वी की सब जातियोंमें श्रेष्ट करेगा।  फिर अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की सुनने के कारण थे सब आर्शीवाद तुझ पर पूरे होंगे।

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಕೈಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸುವನು.ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತವಾಗುವವು.

നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ടു, ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ സകല കല്പനകളും പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടന്നാല്‍ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സര്‍വ്വജാതികള്‍ക്കും മീതെ ഉന്നതമാക്കും.നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചാല്‍ ഈ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെല്ലാം നിനക്കു സിദ്ധിക്കുംപട്ടണത്തില്‍ നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടും;

இன்று நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளின்படியெல்லாம் செய்ய நீ கவனமாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, அவர் சத்தத்திற்கு உண்மையாய்ச் செவிகொடுப்பாயானால், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பூமியிலுள்ள சகல ஜாதிகளிலும் உன்னை மேன்மையாக வைப்பார். நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும்போது, இப்பொழுது சொல்லப்படும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களெல்லாம் உன்மேல் வந்து உனக்குப் பலிக்கும்.

నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట శ్రద్ధగా వినినేడు నేను నీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించుచున్న ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలనన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనినయెడల నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త జనములకంటె నిన్ను హెచ్చించును.నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట వినినయెడల ఈ దీవెనలన్నియు నీమీదికి వచ్చి నీకు ప్రాప్తించును.
