A Savior is Born!

1.      In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

2.      Lesson to be Learnt:

3.                  Jesus took the lowliest form when He was born in the world. He chose to be born in a cowshed rather than in a palace. He chose to be born as a simple Carpenters son rather than as a King’s son. He lived the life of humbleness. He did everything for our sake. Everybody look at Christmas as an event to celebrate with new dress and sweets, yes it is, but we forget the Savior who was born only to die for the people’s sin and sickness in this event. When He was born there was no room in the inn for Him. Today there is no room for Him in peoples heart either. How do u find Christmas. Do you have the room in your heart for this Savior to be born?
