A Time to talk & A Time to Listen!!

As much as Jesus loves listening to what you talk, He also wishes to speak to you. Don’t you wish to listen to Him?. Now from today we will give you few ideas on how you can listen to Jesus. In ancient times there were situations where God spoke through Angels, Prophets or even directly to some people. The greatest gift that we have from Our Lord is His Word – The Bible. These days Lord mainly speaks through the Bible.

Now you are all set to listen. So here is what you should do.

The Bible is not a story book. You cannot read it as though you read a novel. You should read it with so much respect.

1)Before you start to read the Bible, say a small prayer “ Lord I wish to hear You speak, Please open the eyes of my heart to understand what You speak”

2)      Stick to a consistent plan meaning never take random pages and read the Bible that’s not  a good practice at all.( I have given few links that has reading plans. If you wish you can use it as well)

3)      When you read, take time to understand each and every line.

4)      It is not important that you have to read more pages. But it is important that you read and understand the Word of God properly.

5)      So as you read, you will find a verse that touches you so greatly. That verse is what God wants to talk to you that day.

6)      Have that verse the whole day and like a cow keep munching on it till you get to understand what the Lord means by that to you.

7)      When you do this sincerely I bet you will surely listen to the silent voice of the Lord speaking in your heart.

8)      So wish to hear His voice ? Go ahead try it !!!

1Samuel 3:10And the Lord came and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel! Then Samuel answered, Speak, for Your servant hears.

(Hindi) तब यहोवा आ खड़ा हुआ, और पहिले की नाईं पुकारा, शमूएल! शमूएल! शमूएल ने कहा, कह, क्योंकि तेरा दास सुन रहा है।

(Telugu)  తరువాత యెహోవా ప్రత్యక్షమై నిలిచి ఆ రీతిగాసమూయేలూ సమూ యేలూ, అని పిలువగా సమూయేలునీ దాసుడు ఆల కించుచున్నాడు ఆజ్ఞయిమ్మనెను.

(Kan) ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಬಂದು ನಿಂತು ಮೊದಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇಸಮುವೇಲನೇ, ಸಮುವೇಲನೇ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮುವೇಲನು--ಮಾತನಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

(Mal) അപ്പോള്‍ യഹോവ വന്നുനിന്നു മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെശമൂവേലേ, ശമൂവേലേ, എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. അതിന്നു ശമൂവേല്‍അരുളിച്ചെയ്യേണമേ; അടിയന്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
