Beatitudes

A man who is starving is desperate for food. A man might be dying because he has no water. He is desperate for a drink. Everyone of us should be desperate to do good in the sight of the Lord. We should be like a starving man or a thirsty man. Our greatest desire should be to obey God completely. We should be eager to do what God wants. And we should also see that we lead other people to God. Then we will find joy and peace because God will satisfies us.

Matthew 5:6

(CEV)  God blesses those people who want to obey him more than to eat or drink. They will be given what they want!

(Hindi) धन्य हैं वे, जो दयावन्‍त हैं, क्‍योंकि उन पर दया की जाएगी।

(Tamil OV)  நீதியின்மேல் பசிதாகமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் திருப்தியடைவார்கள்.

(Telugu)  నీతికొరకు ఆకలిదప్పులు గలవారు ధన్యులు; వారు తృప్తిపరచబడుదురు.

(Mal) നീതിക്കു വിശന്നു ദാഹിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാര്‍; അവര്‍ക്കും തൃപ്തിവരും.

(Kan) ನೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಸಿದು ಬಾಯಾರಿದವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
