Beatitudes

‘Pure’ means being clean and sincere. People may think that a person’s actions are good. But he may have acted so that other people would praise him. Or perhaps he wanted to be proud of himself. God has told that, ‘The Lord looks deep inside a person’ (1 Samuel 16:7). There are people whose thoughts are very ‘pure’. And they will be able to ‘see God’ because they understand more and more about God all the time. And these people will be able to ‘see God’ very clearly. How nice it would be to meet the Lord the Almighty in person.

Matthew 5:8

(CEV)  God blesses those people whose hearts are pure. They will see him!

(Hindi) धन्य हैं वे, जो मेल करवानेवाले हैं, क्‍योंकि वे परमेश्वर के पुत्र कहलाएंगे।

(Tamil OV)  இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள்.

(Telugu)  హృదయశుద్ధిగలవారు ధన్యులు; వారు దేవుని చూచెదరు.

(Kan) ಶುದ್ಧ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು.

(Mal) ഹൃദയ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവര്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാര്‍; അവര്‍ ദൈവത്തെ കാണും.
