The Truth shall set you free!

When they [the wise men] had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. 'Get up,' he said, 'take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.' So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'Out of Egypt I called my son.' When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:' A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.' After King Herod died, an angel from the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph while he was still in Egypt. The angel said, "Get up and take the child and his mother back to Israel. The people who wanted to kill him are now dead." Joseph got up and left with them for Israel.  But when he heard that Herod's son Archelaus was now ruler of Judea, he was afraid to go there. Then in a dream he was told to go to Galilee, and they went to live there in the town of Nazareth. So the Lord's promise came true, just as the prophet had said, "He will be called a Nazarene."

Lesson to be Learnt:

             As you can see the whole passage speaks about the fulfillment of prophecies given in the old testament. Again and again the credibility of the Bible is proved.  One should remember that the books of the bible has various authors but all guided by the Holy Spirit( Spirit of God) and hence there are no contradictions in the bible. Think about it, a prophet in the old testament of the Bible predicts about each and everything that would happen during the birth of Jesus and not even a single thing was missed out when it actually happened! Surprised!  Aren’t you? This proves that the Bible speaks the truth. Nothing in the Bible is fake. Everything is true. Think about it. When you lie about something to a person you have a sense of guilt and heavy feeling in your heart. But when you confess the truth no matter how bad the situation is you will feel relaxed and comfortable( If have never experienced this  ..Try it…Always speak the truth!!It makes you relaxed!). The bible speaks truth. And the truth will surely set you free!

John 8:32
