Beatitudes

A gentle, patient, mild man his hope being in the Lord is more prosperous than an impatient and quarrelsome man who easily raises up enemies; often loses property in lawsuits; spends his time in disputes and broils rather than in sober, honest industry; and is harassed, vexed, and unsuccessful in all that he does. “Godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that we live now, and also the life in heaven that is to come,”. The term “The earth will belong to them”  does not mean that the gentle people would own great property or have many lands, but that they would possess special blessings from the Lord.

Matthew 5:5

(CEV)  God blesses those people who are gentle. The earth will belong to them!

(Hindi) धन्य हैं वे, जो नम्र हैं, क्‍योंकि वे पृय्‍वी के अधिक्कारनेी होंगे।

(Tamil OV)  சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்.

(Telugu)  సాత్వికులు ధన్యులు; వారు భూలోకమును స్వతంత్రించుకొందురు.

(Mal) സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവര്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാര്‍; അവര്‍ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കും.

(Kan) ಸಾತ್ವಿಕರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
