Key characteristics: He was the wisest man ever. He wrote the following (Ecclesiastes,Songs of Solomon,many of the Proverbs and some Psalms )He built the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem.

Lesson to be Learnt: He married foreign women in later part of his life and they turned him away from the Lord. King David even he made mistakes, he returned to God with repentance. But Solomon never learnt the lesson of repentance. He had everything in his life but his book Ecclesiastes suggest he was finding everything like vanity. It shows the vacuum that comes when we are away from God. So my dear friend, whatever mistakes you have made in the past, however big it seems to be, run to the Lord in submission and repentance. He will definitely forgive you and give you a wholesome life.
