Believe and Receive!

Several days later, the widow’s son got sick, and he kept getting worse, until finally he died. The woman shouted at Elijah, "What have I done to you? I thought you were God's prophet. Did you come here to cause the death of my son as a reminder that I've sinned against God?" "Bring me your son," Elijah said. Then he took the boy from her arms and carried him upstairs to the room where he was staying. Elijah laid the boy on his bed and prayed, "LORD God, why did you do such a terrible thing to this woman? She's letting me stay here, and now you've let her son die." Elijah stretched himself out over the boy three times, while praying, "LORD God, bring this boy back to life!"The LORD answered Elijah's prayer, and the boy started breathing again. Elijah picked him up and carried him downstairs. He gave the boy to his mother and said, "Look, your son is alive." "You are God's prophet!" the woman replied. "Now I know that you really do speak for the LORD."

Lesson to be Learnt:

            We have gone through this many times. When we face situations which seems so impossible to solve, in our panic and fear, start to complain about the Lord just like the widow. We tend to forget the good things God has done for us in the past. The widow was the one who saw miracles from the Lord. But when she saw her son laying dead, she dint believe the Lord could help in this impossible situation too. The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He never changes. He is an expert in changing impossible situations. So my dear friend, if you are in an impossible situation right now, why don’t you turn to the Lord, instead of asking Him why the situation is happening?. So stop wasting your time on doubting the King of Kings and pray for the best to come.

Jeremiah 32:27

Jer 32:26 ഞാന്‍ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും സന്തതിയെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും സന്തതിക്കു അധിപതിമാരായിരിപ്പാന്‍ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയില്‍ നിന്നു ഒരാളെ എടുക്കാതവണ്ണം തള്ളിക്കളയും. അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ ഞാന്‍ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവര്‍ക്കും കരുണകാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Jer 32:26 ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನೂ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನದಿಂದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ, ಇಸಾಕ, ಯಾಕೋಬ ಇವರ ಸಂತಾನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವವರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇದ್ದೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವೆನು.
